The way in which the financial market has changed in recent years has almost no precedent in history – a string of previously unwitnessed events has tested the resilience and sustainability not only of the financial system but of the whole economic and social order upon which the modern world rests as well.

It is this very question to which the joint Zagreb Stock Exchange and fund management industry conference, entitled 'The Challenge of Change: Creating Opportunities', will attempt to provide an answer.
The Zagreb Stock Exchange joined forces with the Association of Pension Fund Management Companies and Pension Insurance Companies and the Association of Investment Fund Management Companies at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce last year to create a conference which has since established its profile as a central meeting point of the local and regional financial community, gathering more than 350 participants as well as leading national and international experts.
