Uto Baader (born 1944) was the founder and Chairman of Baader Bank AG’s Executive Board until July 2015 and head of the organization for a total of 32 years. In 1983 Uto Baader became an authorised stockbroker on the Bavarian Stock Exchange in Munich, where he began trading in international equities. Before starting his career as a stockbroker, he was head of the International Equities Trading section at Bayerische Landesbank in Munich, where he worked for 13 years. Four years later, following his initial success in Munich, he was also authorised to trade on the Baden-Württemberg Stock Exchange in Stuttgart. Uto Baader broadened the scope of his business activities in 1993, working on the flotation of a software firm. This later led to the creation of a separate division specialising in support for corporate actions such as IPOs, capital increases and takeover bids. His work as a broker gained a broader institutional footing in 1996 when Uto Baader founded Baader Wertpapier GmbH. At the same time, he acquired a majority stake in the listed company Ballmaier & Schultz Wertpapier AG in Frankfurt, joining its Executive Board. Two years later he merged the two firms, creating Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG and taking over the reins of the new company. After receiving a full banking licence from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority in July 2008, the company became Baader Bank AG, and Uto Baader became Chairman of its Executive Board.

Ratko Bajakic has over 25 years investment banking experience. He worked for Bank Austria in Vienna, Prague and Zagreb and joined in 1998 partners to create a leading Croatian investment house ICF. The company was involved in coupon privatization running the largest privatization fund, asset management, brokerage business and corporate finance advisory. Ratko currently holds a position as a director of ICF and is also a member of supervisory boards of Brodospas, SNH Alfa d.d. and SNH Beta d.d. In last three years his main targets are investments in SMEs via Funderbeam platform and cash management through different European fintech platforms.

Maja is a CFA charterholder with 13+ year of experience on capital markets. Currently works as Executive Director of Development and Investment Banking at Podravska banka.
Maja serves as a Supervisory Board Member at Croatian Central Clearing and Depository Company and a Board Member of CFA Society Croatia.

Martynas Cesnavicius, Partner of KJK Group, born 1972, resides in Vilnius,
Lithuania. Martynas graduated from Vilnius University¹s Faculty of
Economics with a degree in Banking and Finance and speaks Lithuanian,
English, and Russian fluently. Until 2002 he worked for Möller Invest, a
Norwegian private investment firm and since 2003 he has been actively
serving as a member of the management bodies of the investment vehicles
related to KJK and Amber Trust. Currently, he serves as a board member of
several public and private companies based in the Baltic region, Norway,
Bulgaria and Slovenia. Martynas holds significant corporate management and
merger and acquisitions experience from both private and public equity
markets across Eastern Europe.

Graduated in Finance from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb in 1997 and gained the Executive MBA degree from the International Executive Development Center Bled (Slovenia) in 2001. Ivana also holds the investment advisor license and is currently a PhD student of communication and author of several papers on investor relations.
She gained wide professional experience working for leading Croatian companies and financial institutions.
Ivana started her career in 1998 at Pliva Plc. where she served until 2003 as a Head of Capital Market Operations. Since 2003 till 2005 she worked at Lura Plc. as a Head of strategic financing project and the assistant to CEO.
In 2005 Ivana joined Société Générale - Splitska Bank Plc. where she worked as a Deputy Head of Corporate Department and a Head of Structure Finance Department. In 2007 she continued her career in Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank Plc. taking the position of Executive Director in the Investment Banking Unit responsible for financial markets, private banking, corporate finance, asset management and investment funds.
Since May 2010 she is the President of the Management Board of Zagreb Stock Exchange.
She is a President of the Supervisory Board of the SEE LINK Skopje, legal entity founded in 2014 with the aim to establish regional order routing service between Bulgaria, Macedonia and the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Following the acquisition of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in late 2015, she is also the president of its Supervisory Board.
Over the years Ivana improved her knowledge through various professional seminars on banking and capital markets. She was a speaker, lecturer and participant in numerous conferences and professional gatherings on the subject of banking, finance and capital markets.

Last 5 years Goran is heading Erste Group Fixed Income Securities Trading department - international team of 15 traders / market makers, providing liquidity in >90% of all listed bonds issued by issuers from Austria and CEE15 region, as systematic internaliser and liquidity provider / market maker into present MTFs. During this period Erste successfully implemented Mifid2 regulation and became top4 primary dealer in 4 CEE countries.
From 2011-2015 he was heading the Erste Croatia local Trading Department – FX, money market and securities trading – the period when Erste became leading liquidity provider for these products in Croatia, and significantly improved the profitability there.
From 2008-2011 Goran was Equity Trader in Erste Securities Zagreb, was a first market maker in Zagreb Stock Exchange.
In 2005 he started as government bond trader in Erste bank Croatia.

Darko Horvat (1979.) ima više od 10 godina izvršnog iskustva u vodećim revizorskim i konzultantskim društvima te društvima za porezno savjetovanje. Prije dolaska u M+ radio je kao Senior Manager u Deloitte Hrvatska i Deloitte USA, zadužen za procjenu rizika, financijsko planiranje za klijente od iznimnog značaja, planiranje izvršenja i razvijanje softwarea. Darko je diplomirao na Zagrebačkom sveučilištu s titulom mastera upravljanja poslovnim poslovanjem (MBA). Stručno se usavršavao na smjerovima na sveučilištu Harvard University.

Rođen sam 14. ožujka 1958. u Hreljinima, općini Žminj.
Godine 1976. završio sam Srednju elektrotehničku školu i zaposlio se u poduzeću Elektromehanika koje će se kasnije pripojiti pulskom Uljaniku. Kao stipendist Uljanika, 1988. završavam Višu tehničku školu za sigurnost pri radu i zaštitu od požara u Zagrebu te time stječem zvanje inženjera sigurnosti.
Po završetku školovanja zaposlio sam se u Uljaniku - Pula kao inženjer sigurnosti i zaštite na radu.
Od 1981. godine bavim se društvenim radom, prvo kao predsjednik Zbora radnika u Uljaniku, a zatim od 1990. kao povjerenik Sindikata metalaca Hrvatske koji je u tom trenutku imao više od pet tisuća članova.
Godine 1994. izabran sam za regionalnog povjerenika Sindikata metalaca, a dvije godine nakon toga i za županijskog povjerenika Saveza samostalnih sindikata Hrvatske za Istarsku županiju. U razdoblju od 1994. do 2003. aktivno se i profesionalno bavim sindikalnim radom što uključuje i borbu za umirovljenička prava.
Godine 2003. na prijedlog SUH-a kao nestranački kandidat na listi Hrvatske stranke umirovljenika izabran sam u Hrvatski sabor. Učlanjujem se u HSU gdje postajem član Predsjedništva te predsjednik Županijske organizacije HSU-a Istarske županije. Na parlamentarnim izborima 2007. ponovno sam izabran u Sabor, a od 14. ožujka 2008. sam predsjednik HSU-a i saborski zastupnik.

Bernard Jakelić (21.05.1962.) magistar je pravnih znanosti. Karijeru je započeo u korporativnom sektoru , a nakon polaganja pravosudnog ispita radio je u Državnom odvjetništvu Republike Hrvatske.
Od 1996. karijeru nastavlja u Hrvatskoj udruzi poslodavaca (HUP-CEA), a trenutno radi na poziciji zamjenika glavnog direktora HUP-a.

Kroz svoj rad obrazovao se na različitim domaćim i međunarodnim edukacijskim programima – Industrial Policy – Tokyo, Managament – Geneve, Korporativno i EU pravo – Brussels, Socijalni dijalog – Nicosa, Lobbying and decision making - Brussels..etc..
Uz to sudjelovao je kao panelist i predavač na nizu međunarodnih i domaćih konferencija predstavljajući Republiku Hrvatsku i Hrvatsku udrugu poslodavaca.
Sudjeluje kao gost predavač na hrvatskim sveučilištima.
Priznati stručnjak je u područjima prava, poslovnog upravljanja, poslovnog savjetovanja, lobiranja i međunarodnih odnosa – (s fokusom na EU).
Autor je niza stručnih članaka, objavljivanih u različitim stručnim časopisima i publikacijama.

Jurica Jednačak graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. From 1997 to 2000, he was an associate of the Institute for International Relations, and since 2001 he worked as the Head of the Securities Listing Department at the Zagreb Stock Exchange. From 2003 to 2006, he was Assistant Head of the Corporate Treasury Division, after which he got employed with Zagrebačka banka where he performed the function of the Head of Brokerage Service for Corporate Clients, while in 2007, he became the Head of Brokerage.
From 2013 until February 2018, when he was appointed member of the Board of HANFA, he served as president of the Business Activities and Financial Markets Intermediation Association with the Croatian Chamber of Economy.

Peter is a Managing Director with LynxCap Group, an investment fund specialising in the acquisition and management of non-core and non-performing assets originated by commercial banks and leasing companies. Prior to LynxCap, Peter Kadish was responsible for the NPL portfolio acquisitions at DDM Group AG, managing key transactions in the CEE region, specifically focusing on Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian markets. Peter has Private Equity and Investment Banking background. He was an Investment Director in EUR 5 Billion Private Equity & Credit fund as well as Head of Syndicate at an investment bank, where he was responsible for numerous major Oil and Gas Eurobond placements. Peter has an Executive MBA from London Business School (2017) as well as is a CFA charter holder (2012) where he also served as a regional Board member. Peter resides in Zug, Switzerland.

Tonći Korunić has joined InterCapital in 2003. He previously worked as a Head of Group Treasury at PLIVA Group, a leading pharmaceutical company in Croatia and the CEE region. During his five years at PLIVA, Tonći has led and participated in numerous transactions of major importance to the Group's operations and development (such as international acquisitions in the EU and USA, financing through ECPs, bonds (EMNTs), complex asset backed financings, etc., thus contributing to the growth of the company with local and regional reach into a global pharmaceutical company.
At InterCapital, he helped establish the Asset Management business division, and since 2012 he has been engaged in investment banking (financing by issuing securities, M&As, financial strategy and restructuring).
His professional expertise includes corporate finance, public and private financings, risk and investment management, and tax management fundamentals. Tonći graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. He is also married and a father of three.

Dr. Kressin is a senior vice president and portfolio manager within the European Insurance team. He is also a member of the European Portfolio Committee. He joined the Allianz Group in 1998 and PIMCO in 2002. Until 2009, he worked as co-head of the global desk in Munich, and until 2017, he headed the European foreign exchange desk in the Munich office. Previously, he supported the private client asset management division of Dresdner Bank AG in Berlin. He has 27 years of investment experience and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Technical University in Berlin, Germany, and a Ph.D. from the Technical University Cottbus.

Ante Kusurin joined OEP in 2011 and is a Vice President based in New York. During his tenure at OEP, Mr. Kusurin worked on investments in the industrials and technology industries. Mr. Kusurin is a member of the Board of Directors of Rizing and Orion, a Board observer at Allegro, Zodiac and W.W. Williams, and has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Inertech and Voltyre.

Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Kusurin worked in the Investment Banking division of NM Rothschild & Sons in London where he focused on the consumer goods and retail industries. Mr. Kusurin received his B.B.A. in finance from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, an M.Sc. in geography from School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford and an M.B.A. from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

Matko holds a bachelor’s degree from Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and the LLM Finance degree from Goethe University (Institute for Law and Finance). Matko has more than 10 years of capital markets and corporate finance experience. Since joining InterCapital Securities in 2010, Matko co-lead their investment banking department and was primarily responsible for ECM & M&A transactions in the SEE region. Since 2016 he serves as the President of the Management Board at InterCapital Securities with primary responsibilities in areas of investment banking, trading & research. Matko is also a member of the Supervisory Board at the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Rosa Marić graduated from the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, and subsequently completed her postgraduate specialist study of Insurance and Reinsurance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. Holds a license for a certified pension fund manager, a certified pension insurance company manager and is CFA Charterholder. Since 2014, she worked as fund manager in PBZ Croatia osiguranje JSC for Compulsory Pension Funds Management, and since 2017 she has been the head of the Asset Management Department.

Bernardo Mariano is founding and managing partner of ERDesk, an investment banking and
consulting firm focused in exchanges and global capital markets-related fintech. He has extensive
experience in leading consulting teams on capital markets projects in emerging markets, including
Russia, Qatar, Turkey, Romania, India, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Dominican Republic,
Panama, Costa Rica, Japan, USA and Korea, among others.
In particular, Bernardo he is an advisor to the European Development Bank (EBRD) on the
acquisition of stakes in stock exchanges and has advised them in Turkey, Russia, Romania and
Croatia
Bernardo has received broad recognition for its in-depth coverage and consulting - regularly quoted
in the media, including The Wall Street Journal, FT and Traders Magazine, among
others. Moreover, - the FIA (Future Industry Association), FIAB (Federación Iberoamericana de
Bolsas), the World Exchange Congress and other organizations regularly invite Bernardo as a
speaker to discuss market structure, regulation and emerging capital market technologies.
Bernardo is currently an independent board member of Zagreb Stock Exchange and an advisor to
the think tank CSIS on capital markets, a board advisor to Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos, where he
proposed and executed the vertical and horizontal integration of BYMA) and an advisor to several
private equity funds that invest in Exchanges.
Prior to founding ERDesk, Bernardo was COO of US-based electronic Broker Dealer Bulltick
Capital Markets, President of Reuters’ Bondex (a fixed income analytics company), Director of
Instinet and member of Instinet’s Strategic Committee, founder and partner of West Side
Consultants, one of the largest private banks in Uruguay today and the Co- founder of Latinstocks,
one of the first online brokers in Latam.
Bernardo holds an MS in Economics from the University of Illinois and an MS in Finance from
Columbia University.

Paul Merdzo is Managing Director of Supernova Group, an Austrian based real estate developer and investor. The group has developed more than 40 projects in Austria, Slovenia and Croatia and is also active in Slovakia, Serbia, Romania and Germany. With 15 shopping centers and retail parks throughout Croatia (thereof on in development) Supernova is the market leader in the retail sector. Supernova is managing its own portfolio through its affiliate m2 Centermanagement.

In 2015 Paul and his team acquired 60 Do-it-yourself markets from bauMax, an Austrian DIY chain and rented most of these shops to OBI on a long term basis. In 2016 Supernova bought a portfolio of 4 shopping centers and retail parks from HETA in the way of a NPL (non-performing-loan) deal, thereby proofing its ability to close transactions in a complex and competitive environment. In 2018/2019 Supernova Group set a new milestone by acquiring 10 shopping centers and retail parks from Mercator.

At the moment Paul is occupied with new developments and acquisitions in Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Romania. He is highly interested in future retailing-trends, especially in the effects of e-Commerce.
Paul is holding a PhD degree in law and a BA degree in business administration. He lives with his family in Graz, Austria.

Dr. Danijel Nestić is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics in Zagreb, Croatia. His research interests include pension policy, poverty and inequality. Specialist themes include the minimum wage, industrial relations and wage policy. He has participated in a number of research projects commissioned by science foundations and various ministries, but also served as a consultant to the World Bank, ILO and the European Commission. He has been engaged in short-term macroeconomic forecasting for Croatia.

Andrijana has more than 18 years of professional experience in consulting various clients from private and public sector in the area of strategic planning and organizational development, process management and business reorganization, project management, regional policy and socio-economic development in the EU in general. Andrijana has led projects in public and private sectors in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and South Africa. Her area of specialization is analysis and organization of business processes, digital transformation, process planning and programming, project implementation and evaluation. Also, Andrijana is an expert on Design Thinking methodology, local development and regional policy of the EU and is a longtime trainer and lecturer in various national and international educational programs.
She graduated in philosophy and sociology at the University of Zagreb and completed MA ” European Union’s Joint Master’s Degree for transition areas” at the University of Trento (IT), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Budapest (HU) and Regensburg (DE). At the University of Connecticut (USA), Department of International Relations, Andrijana became a certified trainer and consultant for organizational development and strategic planning, and at the Institute of Hasso Planter, at the School of Design Thinking, at the University of Potsdam (DE), she acquired a license for Design Thinking mentor and trainer. She also holds certificate from MIT on digital business strategy.

Taavi Rõivas was born on 26 September 1979 in Tallinn, Estonia. Taavi Rõivas was educated at Tallinna Reaalkool (Tallinn Secondary School of Science) and the University of Tartu, School of Economics and Business Administration, where he obtained a degree in Foreign Trade and Marketing.

Taavi Rõivas was the Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia from 2014 to 2016. He was the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Estonia from 2012 to 2014. Taavi Rõivas has been a member of the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th Riigikogu: he has chaired the European Union Affairs Committee, and the FInance Committee and is currently Vice Chairman of the Reform Party Faction.

Taavi Rõivas was the leader of the Reform Party from 6 April 2014 to 7 January 2017 and he was nominated "Top 100 influencers in Blockchain” by Lattice 80 in 2019

Jean-Charles is the Deputy Head of Emerging Market Fixed Income (EMFI) at BNP Paribas Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for supporting the management of all EMFI portfolios and developing a unified EMFI investment process. Jean-Charles joined our firm in 2016 and is based in London.
Prior to joining us, Jean-Charles was at the Institute of International Finance (IIF) where he served as Asia-Pacific Regional Director and CEO of IIF APAC Ltd in Singapore. Prior to that, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income for Everest Capital, where he was responsible for the launch and management of an absolute return emerging market debt fund, as well as long-only frontier markets, fixed income fund.
Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Vice President in the EMFI Team at Trust Company of the West (TCW) in Los Angeles.
Jean Charles has 17 years of investment experience. He is an alumnus of Ecole Normale Supérieure. He holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy and a master’s degree in Epistemology and Philosophy of Economics from Sorbonne University. He also holds a master’s degree in International Economics from UPMF in Grenoble, France.

Andreas is part of the Specialists team in London and covers Bloomberg’s Equity Derivatives workflows and functionality. His role is to support sales in all aspects of the product, advise clients how to best set up and use the functionality. He helps product management with market insight and direct client feedback when it comes to product development. His role includes to represent Bloomberg and its products at industry events and to providing content for various Bloomberg publications such as writing functions for markets and articles.
Andreas has twenty + years of industry experience in equity derivatives trading and sales. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he held an Executive Director position at Nomura in Frankfurt selling equity derivatives to German/Austrian institutional clients. He has spent 9 years with Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt and London and had various assignments with German Banks in Equities where he managed teams of traders for cash equities and equity derivatives.

Richard Schmidt is our Head of Absolute Return at DJE Kapital AG since March 2019. As part of this role, he is responsible for strategic management and holistic coverage for absolute return mandates. He is also co-fund manager of our ESG fund „DWS Concept DJE Responsible Invest“. Richard Schmidt has many years of experience in multi-asset fund management. Before joining DJE he was responsible for the MEAG EuroErtrag at MEAG Munich Ergo Asset Management and headed the strategic group Tactical Asset Allocation there. At Lazard Asset Management he served as a portfolio manager and was responsible for the management of pension mandates for institutional clients.

Matjaz Schroll is partner at Templeton Private Equity Partners (“TPEP”) at Franklin Templeton Investments and is heading private equity activities in Central and Eastern Europe. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing private equity transactions in the CEE, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

He is supervisory board member of the company Studio Moderna, which is the biggest direct response TV and online sales company in CEE and he was supervisory board member of the Ring/Helios group, which is the biggest paints producer in the CEE and was sold to the Japanese company Kansai in 2016. In addition he has an observer seat on the board of the holding company of Integer, which is managing the biggest network of automated parcel machines in Europe and which consolidated the assets of the following Polish companies: Integer, Inpost and EasyPack.

Matjaz Schroll used to seat on the supervisory boards of the following companies: Bucharest Stock Exchange, Romania; Magma, Croatia and Teleset, Russia.

Mr Schroll holds the Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Karl-Franzens University of Graz, Austria.

Michael Stirling’s career has included working in investment banking, corporate finance, and law. Michael advises on debt and equity capital raises for the financing of infrastructure projects. He advises clients on international M&A infrastructure and energy market transactions.   Michael was elected and served for a number of years on the Institute of Directors’ ‘Economics and Taxation Committee’, which acts on behalf of directors to make policy recommendations to the UK Government, Treasury, and European Union. 

Michael is a regular speaker at leading international infrastructure, energy, and finance conferences. He is regularly invited to lecture at a number of universities, providing commercial insight on MBA programs on how to successfully identify, finance and close market transactions. Michael’s opinions are regularly published in the business press. His comments and market analysis have featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Economist and other business journals. 

In addition to working in the finance sector, he has also been retained by a number of Champions League football clubs to advise them on raising capital.

Velimir Šonje konzultant je, vlasnik i direktor savjetničke tvrtke Arhivanalitika, koja u Hrvatskoj posluje od 2003. godine, a od 2017. godine pokreće i uređuje portal Ekonomski lab . Prije karijere u vlastitoj tvrtci radio je kao istraživač na Ekonomskom institutu u Zagrebu od 1990. do 1995. godine, direktor Direkcije za istraživanja i izvršni direktor Sektora za istraživanja i statistiku Hrvatske narodne banke od 1995. do 2000. godine, te kao član uprave Raiffeisenbank Austrija d.d. Zagreb od 2000. do 2003. godine. Godine 2008. bio je i predsjednik uprave te suvlasnik društva za upravljanje fondovima ICF Invest. Bio je dugogodišnji predavač na Zagrebačkoj školi ekonomije i menadžmenta.
Osim za klijente iz Hrvatske, kao konzultant je radio za klijente iz SAD-a i Velike Britanije, te za međunarodne financijske institucije poput Svjetske banke i Međunarodnog monetarnog fonda. Savjetuje o temama iz područja makroekonomije, bankarstva, financijskog tržišta i razvoja te financijske regulacije.
Domaćoj javnosti je poznat i kao jedan od autora Antiinflacijskog programa 1993. godine. Napisao je oko osamdeset znanstvenih i stručnih članaka objavljenih u časopisima i zbornicima s konferencija, autor je ili koautor u dvadesetak knjiga i poglavlja u knjigama, od kojih je desetak objavljeno u inozemstvu. Od početka devedesetih prisutan je kao komentator ekonomskih zbivanja.

Diplomirao, magistrirao i doktorirao na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu.
Od 1994. radi u sustavu Privredne banke Zagreb d.d. Od 2001. godine voditelj je projekta mirovinske reforme u Privrednoj banci Zagreb te postaje predsjednikom Uprave PBZ CROATIA OSIGURANJA d.d. za upravljanje obveznim mirovinskim fondom. Autor je više članaka i stručnih radova.

Rob’s background is in physics, applied mathematics, and financial economics. Rob started his career as a military scientist working in space systems where he managed large software development projects.
Rob came to blockchain ideologically from the libertarian cypherpunk world, academically via cryptofinance research, and professionally by founding Horizen (formerly ZenCash) where he focused on extending zero-knowledge technology into blockchain governance, smart contracting, DAG protocols, and sidechains.
Robs holds BA in Physics, MBA and PhD in Finance.

Ivana Vukorepa is associate professor of labour and social security law at the University of Zagreb. She has completed her LL.B. studies at the University of Zagreb in 1999, while LL.M. at the College of Europe in Brugge in 2001. In 2001 she did the Croatian Barr exam. From 2007 to 2008 she was Fulbright Visiting Researcher at the Georgetown University Law Center. In 2011 she earned her doctoral degree at the University of Zagreb (dissertation titled “Funded pension systems as factors of social security”). In the negotiations for the accession of Croatia to the EU she was Head of the Working group for negotiating chapter “Freedom of movement for workers”. She has been actively participating in national and international conferences and seminars, as well as scientific research in the field of labor and social security law as well as free movement of workers. In social security law she has a particular interest in pensions. She has been the author and co-author of scientific articles and books, and is member of several editorial boards of scientific journals and professional associations. She collaborates as a professional advisor and collaborator on several research projects, as well as to the European independent experts' networks such as: ESPN (from 2014 to 2018) and FreSsco (that in 2018 became MoveS).

Boris Vujčić holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Zagreb. He has also received diplomas in Economics from the Montpellier University (France) and was a pre-doctoral PhD Fulbright student at the Michigan State University.
He joined the Croatian National Bank in 1997 and was Director of the Research Department for three years before becoming Deputy Governor in 2000, a position to which he was re-appointed in 2006.
In July 2012, Mr. Vujcic became Governor of the Croatian National Bank for a six-year term of office and was re-appointed for another six-year term of office in July 2018.
Mr Vujčić has been a Deputy Chief Negotiator in Republic of Croatia’s negotiations with the European Union 2005-2012. He was also a member of the Global Development Network (GDN) Board in the same period, 2005-2012.
He is also a Member of the Steering Committee of the ESRB, since 2016, and a Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Vienna Initiative, since 2016.
Mr. Vujčić’s fields of expertise are macro and monetary economics, international finance and labor economics.

Mr. Ante Žigman, PhD, is the President of the Board of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) whose scope of competence includes a wide range of financial non-banking services, from regulation and supervision of the capital market, through insurance to investment and pension funds.
He is a member of the Mediation Panel of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) as a representative of the CEET region (Central and Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia). He actively participates in the work of these international bodies.
Prior to his appointment as the Head of HANFA, he held a number of important functions, some of them being: Assistant Minister of Finance for Macroeconomic Analysis and Planning, followed by Secretary of State at the Ministry of Finance. He has also served as the vice president of the Committee for Fiscal Policy of the Croatian Parliament, and member of the Economic and Financial Committee's Sub-Committee on EU Sovereign Debt Markets (ESDM).In the banking sector, he was a Board Member of the Partner Bank, as well the Head of Macroeconomic and Financial Research Division and the Chief Economist at the Raiffeisen Bank in Croatia. He has spent a significant part of his career at the Croatian National Bank where he worked in the Office of the Governor until being appointed to the current position.
He has written numerous scientific and expert papers in the field of fiscal policy and finance and is an active lecturer in the area of economics and finance.
