Before joining InterCapital in 2003, Mr Korunić worked as a Head of Treasury at PLIVA, a leading pharmaceutical company in the CEE region, currently owned by Barr pharmaceuticals. He was in charge of setting up a treasury department on the Group level. Over a 5 year period he worked with PLIVA, he led and participated in a number of major and novel transactions (international acquisitions, financing through ECPs, EMTNs, asset backed loans) that were important for PLIVA’s growth and transformation into a global pharmaceutical corporation. In 2003 Mr Korunić joined InterCapital as a founding partner and managing director. Over 12 years InterCapital, lead by Mr Korunić and partner Mr Nevidal, has become one of the leading financial services provider in South-Easter Europe.
In 12 years working at InterCapital Mr Korunić has advised a significant number of companies in different types of transactions (capital and debt markets, M&A deals). Some of the most recent deals on capital markets include: Adris reverse $21m ABO (2015), TNG $16m SPO(2015), TNG $31m IPO (2015), Atlantic Group €25m ABB, Podravka €24m ABB (2011).
Areas of his expertise include corporate finance, public and private financing, risk management, investment and basics of tax management.
